If you are indicted with a Federal criminal charge, you are without fail in trouble. The lawful policing agencies can make arrests using the slightest evidence they might find. The process of trial and sentencing is very long, and involves a series of steps. The complexity of this process means that a defendant is liable to make a distressing error at any point of time, if he does not employ the services of a genuinely good attorney. Thus, to guide you on the phases of the legal process, especially the pretrial phase, you need affordable federal pretrial consultants.

Florida construction Contracts Need More Than Two Pages to Be Legal

No.1 Article of Federal Inmate Search Miami

I'm asked occasionally to advise a straightforward 2-page building covenant for states like Florida.

Where can I get a covenant like that?

Federal Inmate Search Miami

If you see one of these two-page wonders, you can be sure it's junk - at least in the State of Florida. The legislators in Tallahassee have seen to that. Every valid Florida building covenant will consist of any pages of notices and disclosures required by Florida law.

Florida construction Contracts Need More Than Two Pages to Be Legal

If you've been using a two-page covenant for residential building in Florida, here's a handy guide to what you're missing.

Opportunity to heal (Florida Statures lesson 558.005)

Every building covenant in Florida (except social communication projects) must consist of the "notice of claim" statement. The covenant is still valid if you omit this statement. But the fine for leaving it out is 0 under Florida Statutes - 775.08(3).

Buyer's Right to Cancel (Florida Statutes - 501.031)

Unless the deal was concluded at a state fair, at your office or after an express invitation to visit your client at home, residential contracts have to give consideration of the buyer's right to cancel.

If the deal was closed, for example, over lunch in a restaurant, on the phone, by email, on a golf course or at an architect's office, it's a home solicitation sale. I know that doesn't make much sense. But it's Florida law. The consideration is required. Omission of the consideration is a first degree misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in prison and a ,000 fine under Florida Statutes - 775.082 and - 775.083.

Florida building Lien consideration (Florida Statutes - 713.015)

This consideration has to appear in all residential prime contracts valued at ,500 or more if work is whether new building or revision of a building with four units or less. The consideration has to be in 12-point bold caps and whether on the front page of the covenant or on a cut off page. If the consideration is on a cut off page, this statement has to be signed by the owner and dated. Omitting this consideration is a non-criminal violation punishable by a fine of up to 0 under Florida Statutes - 775.08(3) and may make it difficult for a prime contractor to impose lien rights.

Construction commerce salvage Fund consideration (Florida Statutes - 489.1425)

Omission of this consideration is punishable by a fine of up to 0 for the first offense and up to ,000 for a second or subsequent offense.

The Home revision Sales and Finance Act. (Florida Statutes - 520.73)

If a home revision covenant includes a finance charge, Florida law requires a statement in 10-point bold type directly above the owner's signature. Omission of this consideration requires a reputation of all delinquency fees charged, plus attorney fees and costs.

If your Florida contracts fudge on these notices, you have an excuse. Some of these required notices are new. The right to heal consideration became productive October 1, 2006. The lien consideration law became productive in the present form on July 1, 2007.

This checklist covers only notices required by Florida law. Of course, all Florida contracts have to comply with Federal law - the 3-day right to cancel (12 C.F.R. 226.15 ), Federal Truth in Lending (15 U.S.C. 1601) and insulation disclosures (16 C.F.R. 460). If you do home revision work in zips in the middle of 33010 and 34141, Miami-Dade Municipal Code - 10-33 requires additional disclosures.

Even if you're not implicated about the threat of fines and jail time, there are good reasons to keep your contracts legal under Florida law. Get into a dispute on any job and the attorney for the other side will hammer away at every wee flaw and fault in your contract. You could be left with no way to collect.

So while a two-page building covenant may be easy to get the owner to sign, it may not be wholly legal under Florida law. It surely offers wee or no safety should something go wrong. Unfortunately, most forms ready on the Internet today do not cover the provisions required by Florida covenant law.

These checks are done on a state wise basis for all the states. To show the way a national background check it is requisite to have the first and last name of the person on whom the check is done along with the name of the state. The hunt is much more accurate when a middle name, city name, and Ssn estimate are included and can yield results that may include docket, offense and routine information. State level background checks include checking the Criminal Records Repository, Corrections Records, Sex offender registry, and Wanted and certify facts if any.

While national background checks services may consequent in producing more facts as greater estimate of records are checked state background checks can save a lot of time in most cases. When the name of the person about whom the check is being done is fairly common, it will be a tedious and long drawn affair to track down his/her details. If the hunt can be done just by seeing into state records the estimate of work in the hunt is drastically cut down as it would be small to a single state, or an additional one one or two states if needed, as against fifty states in a national search. Moreover, criminal records are usually divided by state development a hunt easier through state websites. Even the National Criminal Records Database (Ncrd) is divided in to 50 states and is used for background searches as a national criminal directory.

It must be remembered that all states do not allow group passage to facts ready in statewide criminal records. Many states allow accessing records online while others want submission of permission requests through specific authorization forms that need filling in identification particulars of the person seeking the facts that include particulars like full name, date of birth, address, Ssn estimate and county of residence. facts gained through a statewide narrative law may not be perfect on catalogue of small date ranges or due to the small estimate of criminal courts and offences for which records are maintained. facts ready against searches made under 'offender' and 'inmate' categories yield results associated only to those individuals who were sentenced to the state prison. Many states allow free online passage to Sors (State Offender Registries). However, the facts under this registry is usually limited.

All criminal narrative checks include facts of convictions, and many times, arrest facts also. Checks of the state child abuse registry can reveal either a person was named in any report, however, all states may not permit registry checks. In such cases the state child protective services group can provide passage information.

Criminal cases that are instituted by the federal government like those associated to counterfeiting, bank robbery and kidnapping together with other offences that occur on federal property could be searched through the relevant federal court district, as federal crimes will not appear in searches made in state or county court records.

National Wants and Warrants hunt is a nationwide narrative to resolve if a person has any excellent and extraditable wants or warrants, which are registered with the Ncic (National Crime facts Center). usually this narrative includes those, which have been issued against commission of felony offenses of a more serious nature, or excellent county warrants that are later elevated to nationwide level.

Can America End Up With Civilian Prison Labor Camps?

Our American Army units are legally authorized to build civilian prisoner labor camps on the very lands of soldiery installations that our taxes pay for. These actions are authorized by a minute known regulation which permits these acts under the ask of the Bureau of Prisons. This regulation is Army Regulation 210-35. This is not a newly established law laid out by the Obama supervision but rather one that was defined under the Bush supervision when they were expanding the presidential powers while any crisis situation.

This regulation clearly defines the Army's purpose in establishing the prison camps within Army installations for purposes of utilizing nonviolent civilian inmates into a unified labor pool for working on the definite portions of federal land. The U.S. Attorney normal will handle the responsibility for availing to the various heads of distinct departments, which incidentally includes the Army, of the services of prisoners for tasks such as works projects which are funded by Congress. Currently the agenda restricts the prisoners to those under control of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

This is merely an supplementary part of the declared powers that President Bush had signed in the name of the Presidential National security Directive estimate 51 and the intimately followed Presidential Homeland security Directive estimate 20 which granted him dictatorial powers in the event he declared the country to be in a state of national emergency. Those who may be customary with these old directives will effortlessly recall how they defined catastrophic crisis in a rather loose manner referencing an incident with no regard to location which results in greatest levels of casualties or severely affects the normal population.

Whenever the nation's president determines that a catastrophic crisis exists he can invoke these directives and immediately take control of all governmental functions along with those of the federal, all state, all local as well as territorial or tribal levels. He is also afforded the power to direct secret activities in order to assure that America emerges successfully from the emergency.

What this amounts to is that our president at his personal estimation can declare a national crisis and invoke the powers that congress has allowed him to sustain for himself. Yes, these same powers that would normally be reserved only for dictators in a third world country. The last time that civilians in America were incarcerated in Army installations was while World War Ii when the Japanese were placed in concentration camps. Of interest in this opinion is that Fort Dix New Jersey has two civilian labor camps established on its property. One of these camps is federally sponsored while the second is state owned. It is not unusual to find that Fort Dix routinely makes use of inmate labor for maintenance of the grounds and other minor hand-operated labor tasks.

Mark Ingram a Fallen Giant

Mark Ingram has had a life full of astounding highs and rock lowest lows. A true fallen giant who has gone from Super Bowl Xxv hero to an inmate in the Federal Prison System.

In 1991 during the Super Bowl against the Buffalo Bills, Ingram caught a pass and evaded any Bills tacklers and hopped his way to the most foremost first down in that game. I truly believe the Ny Giants would have lost that game without his contribution.

Mark was a good wide receiver who played for the Giants, Dolphins, Packers and Eagles in his expert Nfl career. He was drafted by New York as the 28th pick of the first round from Michigan State University in 1987. He was given a 0,000 signing bonus with a lucrative .285 million contract.

Ingram was also involved in an additional one memorable play on November 27th, 1994 when his Miami Dolphins led by Dan Marino defeated Afc East rivals The New York Jets in the infamous fake spike play. With seconds left Dan Marino runs up to the line of scrimmage and motions to his team that a spike is advent up in order to stop the clock, instead he takes the snap and throws a pass to the corner of the end zone to Ingram who catches his 4th touchdown pass of the game.

Mark retired 1997 and that is where all his troubles began. He had any run ins with the law which resulted in arrests and legal issues. In 2001 Mark Ingram was arrested and convicted for proprietary of counterfeit money which totaled ,290, his sentence for this offense was six months. In 2004 he was sentenced to one year in prison after an arrest for stealing a reputation card in Michigan. In 2007 he was charged but not convicted on counts of breaking and entering and stealing a purse. There was not adequate evidence in this case to convict. On September 16th, 2008 he received his longest sentence of seven years for committing bank fraud and laundering money.

This last sentence was rock lowest for Mark Ingram, he pleaded for lenience when he addressed the judge but his prior criminal report was not helpful. He was trying to buy some time in order to watch his son Mark Ingram Jr. Play in the Sec Championship game with his Alabama team. The judge ruled he had until 12/05/08 to turn himself in. The date came and went and Ingram failed to show up at which point a certify was issued for his arrest.

He was ultimately tracked down and apprehended on January 3, 2009 in Flint Michigan. Mark Ingram now 44 years old faces supplementary charges for evading authorities and failure to turn himself in to serve his sentence.

His son is a very talented player and seems destined for the Nfl. It is unfortunate that bad decisions and a lack of respect for the law will prohibit him from enjoying the extra moments Jr. May have in his expert football career.

Federal Inmate Search! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

State employees are being hit especially hard with shorter hours plus decreases in pay. At a time when they wonder what else can be taken word comes that their seclusion funds and curative benefits may not be there when needed. With fellowships and whole cities filing for bankruptcy I wonder how many will find themselves in that same position. Life has come to be undoubtedly terrifying.

What I said. It isn't outcome that the true about Federal Inmate Search. You look at this article for information about that want to know is Federal Inmate Search.

How is California - Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Federal Inmate Search.

Is this undoubtedly the fault of the people? It was tasteless knowledge that mortgage fellowships were making questionable loans. Government oversight was in place to protect us from disaster. Obviously there were kickbacks for seeing the other way and we got more disaster than anyone could ever imagine.

Politicians are out to sell things. I have never heard any of them caution about overspending. President Bush announced that we were broke and headed for a financial disaster in 24 hours. That is undoubtedly too dumb not to be a true story. Homeland safety cannot save us from ourselves and that is where the danger lies. Poor leadership is the problem.

In defense of the habitancy let's talk about the Adam Walsh Act. We were hammered relentlessly to pass this bill and the majority of voters listened. Not a single leader told us that it would cost approximately a billion dollars to implement the act and states would have the predicted costs to keep it going agreeing to federal regulations. Nobody told us that the money was not available to cover the costs. That is the way it has all the time been and like sheep, we were led right into a recession. State leaders that are working to implement this act and add to our tab should be verbally flogged and run out of office. Now that we know the rules we will keep leaders on a short leash and they should get used to rejection..

The biggest, baddest choice or reelection tool that we have is sex offender issues so it will remain in place regardless of how many habitancy are homeless and hungry. We could replace the online registry with an online treasury where we can all watch our money. Jerk the sex offender platform from under them and many will fall to the floor like dead flies. While our attentiveness has been diverted to this one issue the rest of the world was crumbling under our feet. Despite your feelings on sex offenders we must stop playing politics.

Lists have begun to scare me. America is becoming unfamiliar. How many lists carry my own name? There are more lists to come and paying for the one we have has come to be a life sentence that takes priority over hunger and homelessness. Being chained to this debt is punishment and it is not these offenders that are raping the nation. This is just one of those high-dollar, non-essential programs that we can't afford.

The basics for sustaining life are food, water, shelter, curative and a dollop of hope. Some of these items were at the very top of the list to be cut from the Ca budget. The registry wasn't on the list at all. Ingredients for violence are gift and all it will take is a spark.

The culprits are sitting in mansions while we sit on curbs. It looks like some folks in office are not playing fair. I want to see everything together with personal price accounts. With all of America searching we can rule where the money is going.

Chunks of America are falling away and we are proof that a nation divided cannot stand. Our country is on her knees. We have a right to see all expenses laid out for inspection. There is fat in the funds that is still tucked safely away while needful programs are being cut so we want to see it all. The time for secrets is past.

The comments about releasing first time, non-violent offenders a year early is interesting. Why were such habitancy given multiple year sentences? Other states are diverting such inmates to programs where they get help and continue to withhold themselves. Prison space and dollars are being saved for the perilous among us. They are inmates that will refuse early release and stay on to procure every meal the state contracted to contribute them.
Each of our more than 100,000 inmates costs us ,000 plus a year.

A view from the exterior shows the prison law is the major factor in sucking the life out of the state. Communal question for harsher sentences have us chained to a duplicate debt load. For some ungodly hypothesize Ca takes pride in the massive, money-hungry prisons that devour high-priced resources. There are some things I am willing to go hungry for but this isn't one of them.

Federal Inmate Search! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

The Fbi's current spy and infiltration program "sounds like a Cointelpro to me," said a spry 76-year-old civil ownership movement veteran.

What I said. It isn't outcome that the real about Federal Inmate Search. You check out this article for facts about that want to know is Federal Inmate Search.

How is Spying on Peace Groups Not Surprising Says Civil ownership Vet

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Federal Inmate Search.

Robert Keglar of Charleston, Mississippi was referring to an earlier Fbi inexpressive program -- Counter brain Programs or Cointelpros -- that not only promoted spying on and infiltration of civil ownership groups but often harassed activists and pitted them against each other, starting as early as 1956.

"Of course, we had the state of Mississippi spying on us, too. And even inexpressive citizens doing it. No one should ever forget the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission or the White Citizens Councils," Keglar said.

The previous educator and boy scout leader's mother and her friend were tortured and murdered in 1966 for registering voters in Tallahatchie County; his brother was killed when he tried to learn what happened to his mother.

Cointelpro programs often made havoc of perfectly official activities led by the pupil Nonviolent Coordinating Committee or Sncc and other civil ownership groups along with the Naacp, the organization that both Birdia Keglar and Adlena Hamlett belonged to.

As the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission, funded by the state's legislature one year after the 1955 murder of fourteen year-old Emmett Till, was initiated to ensure integration would not occur, previous Fbi and forces brain agents were hired to spy on Mississippians as the Commission came into power.

On the federal side of the guard coin, Cointelpros were initiated by the Fbi in the same year.

Private White Citizens Councils, formed one year earlier in 1955, were also a goods of Mississippi's fight to maintain segregation and represented the inexpressive voice of the state's prominent segregationists.

Councils members included prominent bankers, attorneys, physicians, elected officials, chambers of business members, realtors and others.

Byron de La Beckwith, convicted for the murder of civil ownership icon Medgar Evers, was a Citizens Councils member.

John Satterfield of Yazoo City, a Methodist leader and president of the Mississippi State Bar association and the American Bar association (for two terms), was a member, too.

Sovereignty Commission reports, first publicly released in 1997, are ready online through the state's division of archives and consist of files on some Citizens Councils activities as well.

But Cointelpro files - if they were ever included in Sovereignty Commission's records - are remarkably invisible. Some Mississippians maintain that thousands of Commission files were purged before they were turned over to the Aclu and made public. And that the Fbi, Sovereignty Commission and White Citizens Councils worked hand in hand.

"I've always wondered how the facts was passed on that pinpointed exactly where my mother and her friend would be at that exact time. Who was spying on them? Who told the Klan where they were going? Who knew what route they were taking?" Keglar asks.

The county's district attorney informed Birdia Keglar's son of the "car accident." But relatives and friends, as well as any "eye-witnesses," reported that she and Hamlett were run off the road, pulled from their car, tortured and murdered by highway patrolmen who were also Klan members. The June 12, 1966 accident was never investigated; Mississippi public officials and the Fbi say no reports of the accident exist.

Cointelpro Discovered in Pennsylvania Break-In

The existence of Cointelpro came to light back in March of 1971, when a group calling themselves the "Citizens' Committee to investigate the Fbi" broke into an Fbi field office -- ironically in Pennsylvania, the same state where current Fbi spying charges were lodged this past week - and then provided the press and various members of Congress with inexpressive documents seized from that office, showing the government's involvement in criminalizing dissent.

While Fbi and police harassment were suspected by way of guard and infiltration while the 1960s, any talk of inexpressive or perilous Cia-type operation against domestic dissidents would have been dismissed as paranoid had it not been for the evidence picked up in this raid, agreeing to Brian Glick, the author of "War at Home: Covert operation against U. S. Activists and what we can do about it."

Glick, a New York attorney and public justice advocate, is internationally known for his observations and writing on Cointelpro operations.

In fact, covert operations have been employed against those who speak out against the government throughout the Fbi's history (and even in both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars), along with modern Fbi monitoring of environmental and animal ownership organizations, close watch of anti-war groups by a inexpressive Pentagon program and eavesdropping on domestic communications by the National protection Agency.

The formal Cointelpros of 1956-1971 were broadly targeted against organizations that were at the time carefully politically radical, as well, such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

Within a year of the 1971 Pennsylvania break-in, previous Fbi chief J. Edgar Hoover declared the centralized Cointelpro over, and all future counterintelligence operations to be handled on a "case-by-case basis," an official Fbi statement that sounds all too customary following the more modern spy/infiltration discovery.

Back in 1971, Hoover did not promise that the Fbi would stop using Cointelpro tactics, and more inexpressive documents were revealed through lawsuits filed against the Fbi by Nbc correspondent Carl Stern and then in 1976 by the "Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to brain Activities of the United States Senate," generally referred to as the "Church Committee" for its chairman, Senator Frank Church of Idaho.

Millions of pages of Cointelpro documents remain unreleased, while many released documents were approximately entirely censored; just as recently released reports on the Fbi's infiltration of the Pennsylvania Peace group, many Cointelpro documents made ready to the public consist of lines entirely blacked out, manufacture them unreadable.

Also in 1971, the Church Committee closed that "covert operation programs have been used to disrupt the official political activities of private Americans and groups and to discredit them, using perilous and degrading tactics which are abhorrent in a free and decent society," writes political scientist Howard Zinn.

Where Did Cointelpro Come From?

Cointelpro developed out of the anti-Communist hysteria of the Cold War years, prominent Fbi agents into taking actions against groups that had nothing to do with Communism. The Bureau would take actions against individuals and organizations naturally because they were valuable of government policy, Zinn writes.

The political scientist found numerous examples of free speech violations in which the Fbi targeted population because they opposed U. S. Foreign policy or criticized police actions.

Documents assembled by the Church Committee "compel the closing that Federal law obligation officers looked upon themselves as guardians of the status quo." Zinn cites the guard and harassment of Martin Luther King Jr. As an prominent example.

But Sncc, with its proactive philosophy, topped the list of targeted programs under "Negro radicals."

And when congressional investigations, political trials, and other traditional legal modes of repression failed to counter the growing movements, and even helped to fuel them, the Fbi and police moved exterior the law, resorting to the inexpressive and systematic use of fraud and force to sabotage constitutionally protected political activity.

"Their methods ranged far beyond surveillance, amounting to a home front version of the covert operation for which the Cia has become infamous throughout the world."

Fbi Headquarters conspiratorially instructed its field offices to recommend schemes to "expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise neutralize" exact individuals and groups.

Close coordination with local police and prosecutors was strongly encouraged. Other recommended collaborators included kindly news media, firm and foundation executives, and university, church, and trade union officials, as well as such "patriotic" organizations as the American Legion.

In his research, Glick uncovered a total of 2,370 officially popular ,favorite Cointelpro actions that were admitted to the Senate brain Committee, and thousands more have since been uncovered.

Glick lists four main methods used by the agents:

1) infiltration by agents and informers with the intention to discredit and disrupt; 2) psychological warfare from the outside, using "dirty tricks" to undermine progressive movements; 3) harassment through the legal system, manufacture targets appear to be criminal; and 4) extralegal force and violence along with break-ins, vandalism, assaults, and beatings to frighten dissidents and disrupt their movements.

The lengthy list of activists arrival under charge included Cesar Chavez, Fathers Daniel and Phillip Berrigan, Rev. Jesse Jackson, David Dellinger, officials of the American Friends assistance Committee and the National Council of Churches, and other prominent pacifists were high on the list, "as were projects directly protected by the First Amendment, such as anti-war teach-ins, progressive bookstores, independent filmmakers, and alternative newspapers and news services."

It was Cointelpro "that enabled the Fbi and police to eliminate the leaders of mass movements in the 1960s without undermining the image of the United States as a democracy, complete with free speech and the rule of law.

"Charismatic orators and dynamic organizers were covertly attacked and 'neutralized' before their skills could be transferred to others and garage structures established to carry on their work."

Fbi documents were found disclosing six major official counterintelligence programs, of which three focused on the Civil ownership Movement with top priority given to the "Cointelpro - Communist Party-Usa, with its exact operations conducted on Dr. King, the Mississippi free time Democratic Party, the Naacp, the National Lawyers Guild.

Also the National Committee to Abolish the House Un-American Activities Committee, Women's charge for Peace, the American Friends assistance Committee, and the National Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy.

Officially, the six major Cointelpro programs (with hundreds of isolate operations) were Cointelpro - Communist Party, Usa (Cp); Cointelpro - public Workers Party (Swp); Cointelpro - Puerto Rican Independence Movement; Cointelpro - Black Liberation Movement; Cointelpro - New Left; Cointelpro - Aim; and Cointelpro - White.

Dr. King was a target of an elaborate Cointelpro plot to drive him to suicide and replace him "in his role of the leadership of the Negro people" with conservative Black lawyer Samuel Pierce (later named to President Ronald Reagan's cabinet) agreeing to revisionist historians along with Glick and Zinn, who have come to view King's assassination, as well as Malcolm X's, as domestic covert operations.

Glick cites a letter (Michael Gabriel, "James Earl Ray: The Last Days of Inmate #65477," Cat Yoga Publishing, April, 2004) written by James Earl Ray, in which Ray claimed there was never a trial in the homicide case.

"The government gained operate of the attorney representing me, Percy Foreman. Without going into a lot of details, Mr. Foreman maneuvered me into a plea of guilty after he had me sign numerous literary contracts, and then signing all of the proceeds over to him under the guise he would use the money to finance a trial in the Mlk case.

"Foreman obtained the plea via various threats: If I didn't enter the plea, the government would probably try my brother Jerry, for conspiring in the Mlk shooting, that my father might be returned to an Iowa prison from where he had escaped in 1926, and that he (Foreman), might not put forth his best efforts in a trial."

A label of "Black Nationalist Hate Groups," was the car for the Bureau's all-out charge on Dr. King, Sncc, Core, the Black Panther Party, the Nation of Islam, "Black Muslims," and the National Welfare ownership Organization.

The Socialist Workers Party and groups supporting or working with Malcolm X and the National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam were also identified as targets.

Still others organizations were harassed:

The League of Black Revolutionary Workers, the Dodge Revolutionary Union Movement (Drum), the Revolutionary operation Movement (Ram), the Republic of New Afrika (Rna), the Congress of African People, Black pupil unions, "and many local Black churches and society organizations struggling for decent living conditions, justice, equality, and empowerment."

Additional Cointelpro operations focused on the destruction of Students for a Democratic society (Sds), the Peace and free time Party, the organize for policy Studies, and a broad range of anti-war, anti-racist, student, Gi, veteran, feminist, lesbian, gay, environmental, Marxist, and anarchist groups.

Also the network of food co-ops, health clinics, child care centers, schools, bookstores, newspapers, society centers, street theaters, rock groups, and communes that formed the infrastructure of the counter-culture, agreeing to Glick.

One example of Cointelpro-Communist Party-Usa harassment complicated 18 staffers and supporters of Kudzu, a pro-left, counter-culture newspaper produced in Jackson, Mississippi.

On October 8, 1968, they were attacked and beaten by Jackson deputy sheriffs. Newspaper staffers had already survived a conviction on obscenity charges, the arrest of salespeople, the confiscation of cameras, and even eviction from its offices.

Kudzu was put under direct guard by the Fbi in 1970. For more than two months Fbi agents made daily searches without warrants, agreeing to the coordinator of Pen American Center's free time to Write Committee:

On October 24 and 25, Kudzu sponsored a Southern regional argument of the inexpressive Press Syndicate. The night before the argument the Fbi and Jackson detectives searched the Kudzu offices twice. while the search, an Fbi agent threatened to kill Kudzu staffers.

On the morning of October 26, Fbi agents again searched the office. That evening local police entered the building, held its eight occupants at gunpoint, produced a bag of marijuana, and then arrested them.... A Kudzu staff member commented,

"The Fbi used to be fairly sophisticated, but lately they have broken one of our doors, pointed guns in our faces, told us that 'punks like you don't have any rights,' and threatened to shoot us on the street if they see us with our hands in our pockets."

Discovered among these extra units was a unique Cointelpro program focusing on "White Hate Groups," at least on paper.

But Glick and any other researchers argue that Cointelpro-white appeared only to go after violent right-wing groups, and that the Fbi literally gave covert aid to the Ku Klux Klan, Minutemen, Nazis, and other racist vigilantes, under the cover of being even-handed.

Specifically, Cointelpro documents indicate that some infiltrators discreetly spied for years without calling concentration to themselves (like the Soviet moles or sleepers) while others acted as instigators to disrupt meetings and conventions or public and other contacts.

University of Delaware historian Gary May tells the story of slain activist Viola Liuzzo in "The Informant: The Fbi, the Ku Klux Klan, and the Murder of Viola Liuzzo," (New Haven and London: Yale University Press, May 11, 2005) who was murdered in 1965 at the hands of the Ku Klux Klan immediately after the Selma, Ala., voting ownership march took place.

President Johnson kept close tabs on the investigation and when suspects were taken into custody approximately immediately, it seemed the Fbi was doing its job with extra diligence; federal informant Gary Thomas Rowe had infiltrated the Alabama Klan five years earlier and speedily pointed out the suspects.

But Rowe's own role in the murder was suspicious, and it turned out that his experiences with the Kkk often connected him with other notorious race crimes of the era, along with the Birmingham church bombing. As with some other Fbi informants, this one played both sides.

Agents spread rumors, made accusations, inflamed disagreements, and caused splits. "They urged divisive proposals, sabotaged activities, overspent scarce resources, stole funds, seduced leaders, exacerbated rivalries, caused jealousy and public embarrassment to groups. They often led activists into unnecessary danger and set them up for prosecution."

One coarse maneuver, known as placing a "snitch jacket" or "bad jacket" on an activist, damaged the victim's effectiveness and generated "confusion, distrust, and paranoia." The maneuver was used to divert time and power and turn co-workers against one another, even provoking violence.

"Jacketing" was often done by "carefully orchestrated series of news releases and newspaper articles ready by the Fbi and 'cooperative' reporters."

An activist could be falsely labeled an informer in "Fbi-composed anonymous letters" or in other operations, where the Fbi arranged for police to issue one member of a group that had been arrested together or to singular one out for extra treatment, "and then spread the rumor that the beneficiary had cooperated."

A snitch jacket was used in 1968 against Sncc leader Stokely Carmichael (Kwame Toure) along with a "whispering campaign," to "tag Carmichael with a Cia label," Glick wrote, citing a letter from the Fbi Director to Washington Field Office, July 1, 1968 and memorandums from Washington Field Office to Fbi Director, July 9, and July 10, 1968.

Comedian Dick Gregory, who spent time within Mississippi marching for voting ownership and exterior of the state raising money to help feed and clothe starving children in the Delta, was also the target of "covert maneuvers" to get the Mafia to move against Black activists ... And the entire leadership of the Communist Party - Usa.

Meanwhile, the Fbi's "main right-wing beneficiary" was the Ku Klux Klan, Glick and others say. In 1961, the Klan brutalized free time riders as they arrived in various Southern cities, along with Jackson, with "advance facts supplied by the Fbi."

The Mississippi Sovereignty Commission diligently collected and kept this advance information. The names of civil ownership advocates, their complete address, age, and name of boss or school attended were often collected and held in Sovereignty Files, some under the class name, "Freedom Riders Groups and Addresses, Group Numbers and Date Arrived."

The Fbi kept talking with Klan members. By 1965, some 20 percent of Klan members were on the Fbi payroll, many occupying leadership positions in seven of the fourteen Klan groups over the country, states political scientist Robert Goldstein in "Political Repression in contemporary America: 1870 to the Present," (Cambridge, Ma: Schenkman Publishing Co., 1978).

Finally, Sovereignty Commission staffers often shared files with Fbi extra agents running the Cointelpros, as evidenced by Commission files kept on targets along with the free time Democratic Party and the Republic of New Afrika (Rna).

One Mississippi Delta Sncc volunteer says she was "exposed" no sooner than she arrived on the job in Holly Springs. An August 18, 1966 story in the Jackson Daily News held that Sncc volunteer Jo Freeman was a "professional agitator" citing "the Burns report" as its major source of information.

Five photographs accompanied the story, along with one taken on December 3, 1964 of Freeman speaking from the second floor balcony of the management construction on the University of California, Berkeley campus.

When Freeman's Mississippi Sncc boss saw the editorial, he put Freeman on a bus back to Atlanta. "That thing makes you Klan bait," he told her.

Freeman assumed the Fbi was behind her experience in the Delta, even though she did not know about Cointelpro at the time.

"It had all the earmarks of an Fbi plant, requiring connections between California and Mississippi. My reliance was reinforced when the Fbi's Cointelpro actions against the Civil ownership Movement in normal and its persecution of Dr. Martin Luther King in singular were revealed.

"Not until 1997 did I search for that the actual source of the editorial and photos was the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission (Msc), an official state division of which I was thoroughly unaware in 1966.

"And only after reading many pages in the Msc files at the Mississippi division of Archives and History did I realize that I and others like me were not just foot soldiers in the Civil ownership Movement, but cannon fodder in the Cold War," wrote Freeman in her autobiography, "At Berkeley in the Sixties: study of an Activist, 1961-1965," (Bloomington: Indiana University Press, 2004).

Glick and others maintain that literally thousands of prominent files continue to be withheld, while others have been destroyed. Further, previous Cointelpro operatives narrative "the most heinous and embarrassing actions" were never committed to writing; the statement of retired Fbi extra Agent Arthur Murtagh who appeared before the make your mind up Committee on Intelligence, and who was interviewed by retired Fbi extra Agent Wes Swearingen in June 1979, serves as just one example.

Officials with broad personal knowledge of Cointelpro have been silenced, "most notably William C. Sullivan, who created the [Cointelpro] program and ran it throughout the 1960s. Sullivan was killed in uninvestigated 1977 'hunting accident' shortly after giving overall facts to a grand jury investigating the Fbi, but before he could testify publicly," Glick states.

And so ...

As internal division documents released in March raised new questions over federal spying without court authorization - in this case on anti-war Americans - since Sept. 11, 2001, William Crowley, a spokesman for the Fbi's Pittsburgh office, "insisted the monitoring was legal and connected to an ongoing investigation but gave no details of the probe."

Crowley additional stated that when the Fbi found no link between its investigation and the center, it ended the surveillance, Jonathan S. Landay of Knight Ridder News assistance reported.

The Aclu, meanwhile, contends the documents are the first to "show conclusively" that an anti-war group was targeted for anti-war views. Aclu staff attorney, Marty Catherine Roper, told Landay.

"The documents demonstrate that "Americans are not safe from inexpressive government surveillance, even when they are handing out fliers in the town square, an operation clearly protected by the Constitution."

The Thomas Merton Center, named for an American Roman Catholic monk, poet and author who died in 1968, meanwhile describes itself as a group of population from diverse faiths who believe in "nonviolent struggle" for peace and justice.

Yet an Fbi narrative dated Nov. 29, 2002, defined the town as "a left-wing organization advocating, among many political causes, pacifism."'

The narrative also noted that the town had cooperated with an Islamic organization in staging an event to promote insight between Muslims and non-Muslims in Pittsburgh.

"The documents say they were conducting some kind of investigation," Thomas Merton town director Jim Kleissler told Landay.

"That implies we were under guard naturally because we were against the war. Our freedoms are being undermined."

No surprise there.

All About the Writ of Habeas Corpus

Habeas Corpus is a legal action, otherwise known as a writ, in which a someone can seek relief from the illegal imprisonment of himself, herself or another person. Also known as "the Great Writ," Habeas Corpus has long been an important instrument for protecting an individual's relaxation against state action.

In the United States, the Constitution specifically outlines the writ of Habeas Corpus in the Suspension Clause of article one, section nine. It is stated that the "privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion of the public security may require it." Habeas corpus petitions are regularly argued as ex parte cases, where a judge decides the matter, with or without all affected parties gift before the court.

The idea of relaxation from illegal imprisonment began in 1305 in England, under the reign of King Edward I. It was officially codified by the Habeas Corpus Act of 1679, which remains an important piece of legislature that many contemporary court cases still reference. This Act, along with the body of British obligation of the writ, formed the foundation for the inclusion of the writ in the United States Constitution.

Although this religious doctrine has been in place for centuries, there have been new incidents of suspension in the United States. In 1861, President Lincoln suspended the writ in Maryland and parts of Midwestern states in response to riots, local militia, and the threat of Maryland seceding. In the beginning years of the 1870's, President Grant restricted Habeas Corpus in nine counties in South Carolina, in conjunction with the federal activities against the Ku Klux Klan.

More new suspensions comprise the 2006 approval of the soldiery Commissions Act (Mca). Under this bill, any "unlawful enemy combatant engaged in hostilities or having supported hostilities against the United States" would not be eligible to file for the writ. Additionally, no time limit is set for the hearing or trials of an enemy combatant, so the Mca theoretically allows for indefinite detention without any possible for appeal for those who militarily cross the United States.

Statistically, in 2004, 19,000 non-capital federal habeas corpus petitions were filed. About 60 cases concerning this writ are filed with the United States supreme Court each year. About 21% of all habeas corpus hearings involve life imprisonment inmates. If you are curious in learning more about the possible negative outcomes of illegal imprisonment, this website concerning wrongful death can contribute helpful information.

Ethics, Choices, Consequences and the Law of Attraction

It was a crisp October day in 1995, a day I hoped would never arrive. As we drove up to my newfound destination, I opened the car door, stepped out on the curb and 23 steps into a life changing experience. I walked in to Federal prison.

What I did not understand then, and likely would not have believed then, was that the outer circumstances I was experiencing was a direct supervene of my inner state of mind. plainly put, I was not the victim of my circumstances; I was the architect of them. Because of my beliefs, my thoughts, and my actions -- I had created the exquisite environment for my learning. Of course, studying was the last thing I had on my mind as I walked straight through those prison doors.

In his book, "Why You're Dumb, Sick and Broke...," Randy Gage, international speaker (www.randygage.com), shares powerful lessons about why millions of citizen fail to accomplish their most health, happiness or prosperity. While not new material, Randy, in his own unique style presents the concepts of accountability in fullness in a way that few have the courage to present.

Randy states, "You attract and manifest all things that happens to you. It is the law of attraction. We attract what we think about -- that which we lust after, and that which we fear. anyone that consumes our thoughts gets manifested in the real world."

I must admit, it took me years. Following this painful touch to understand that I was solely responsible. Every option that I made -- even the tiny ones that seem insignificant -- contributed to the extensive consequence. I had chosen to live a life of illusion -- appearing to be something and man I was not. At the time I did not understand that the aware choices I was development were based on subconscious beliefs. The wonderful misfortune of being sentenced to prison was really the culmination of so many bad choices made earlier.

There is a spiritual law, whether we like it or not, we are forced to live by. You reap what you sow! If the thoughts that permeate your being are in alignment with your higher self, you can expect health, happiness and prosperity. Unfortunately, so many of us find that we make decisions and choices that do not serve us. We can create one bad touch after another, and never understand that we are not the victims.

Night after night, when lights were out behind prison walls, I heard inmate after inmate bemoan their condition and claim to be a victim. After all, it wasn't their fault. man else should have gotten caught. If only man had been there to help them. I mean, really, what can you expect, I am disenfranchised by "the man". Me? I was guilty. I had made choices that brought me despair, sadness and shame. Yet, there was one thing that I did know, all things happens for a theorize and this was my time to learn.

In Randy's book -- the chapter on "Letting Go of Victimhood," Randy describes the cyclical trap that so many of us get caught in. He states the process as follows:

1. The programming you are exposed to create your core -- your foundational beliefs.
2. These core beliefs help you develop your foresight of your life.
3. Your foresight creates results that conform to it.

What you see, you shall someday be. There is no judgment in that statement. The universe does not judge our choices or our outcomes. Rather, the universe delivers consistently, what we truly desire. Just as our programming can create negative cycles in our lives, such as money worries or consistently poor relationships, we have the power to create a inescapable vision.

As much as it saddens me to say it, programming, early on, set into motion the patterns I lived my life by. I, like most people, was unaware of the power of the patterning I received and the consequences that would supervene my choices. He would never have convinced me as a child, or even as a college pupil that I would end up in prison. Yet, looking back, I consistently exhibited behavior that any rational man would have known was wrong.

Good news! We can turn our patterns. We can turn our choices. And, the consequences of our actions, can lead us to happiness and prosperity in life. Is easy? No! But, it can be done. I am living proof. Once I recognized the destructive patterns I was living, I made a option to change. Of course, I have to admit it took been stripped of my marriage, my possessions and my career -- while sitting in prison -- to get it. I, like so many, had to turn my inner attitude, so I can touch prosperity and happiness.

Just like the message stated in "The Secret," (www.thesecret.tv) which is sold over 6 million copies, there are laws in the universe, which will give you predictable results. The Law of Attraction does not judge what you want. It only delivers.

Looking back on my prison touch 12 years ago, citizen often ask, "So, what was it like? Or, what did you learn?" My response? "It was the best touch of my life -- in that, it helped me learn about me and understand more fully. My life's purpose." Today, I am blessed to have the opening to share this touch with others -- maybe helping them find their own truth. And create their own fullness and prosperity.

Every option has a consequence. It can be whether negative or positive. anyone the consequence, we attracted it. Therefore, we have the power to choose, anyone consequence we prefer. choose wisely, look past life's illusions, and claim your success.

Criminal Justice center

A criminal justice town is someone else name for a jail or a prison. There are many prisons within the United States. The Federal Bureau of Prisons states that their goal is to safe society by confining criminal offenders to these controlled environments. It claims that United States' prisons are safe, humane, and indispensable in our society. Barring radicals on whether side of the debate, most Americans agree with the necessity of these "humane, controlled environments". These prisons are commonly view of as cost effective and appropriately secure. In general, when an inmate breaks out of prison and is on the run it is a highly publicized event. News media all over the country cover the story. Logically, it can be reasoned that the intuit the public (and the media) take such an interest in the story is because these prison breakouts are rare. With contemporary safety and technology, it is a very rare fluke urgency for an inmate to break out of a criminal justice town (or even to attempt it).

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons' website, there are approximately 211,338 population being held in United States prisons today. Of these individuals, most are classified as being held under "medium" security. Additionally, 16% of these inmates are classified as "low" security. Interestingly, only 6% of prison inmates are female and 33% of all inmates are of Hispanic decent. 73% of the individuals being held in United States' prisons are, in fact, United States citizens. The top division of inmates (29%) will be held in prison for 5-10 years. Drug offenses are the number one crime of prison mates and account for 51% of the inmates, with weapons, explosives, and arson arrival in next with 15% of offenders.

As far as criminal justice town staff, the majority are male (63%) and white (72%). However, this is not to stay that there is no diversity in the prison staff pool. 21% of United States prison guards are of African-American decent and 11% are of Hispanic origin. Today, the Federal Bureau of Prisons accounts for over 115 criminal justice centers within the United States (generally referred to as "institutions") and 28 "community spoton facilities". These prisons employ approximately 37,000 employees to both consist of and care for their inmates. While individual prisons and inmates can be unbelievable to vary in experiences, these institutions commonly work to provide programs that will encourage their inmates to good themselves. These come in handy when an inmate is chosen for restoration back into society.

There are a wide collection of College Criminal Justice jobs ready to those seeking them; this is a field with high job safety and very high career advancement opportunity.
